The Museum of Eastern Asturias is a cultural institution created to conserve, document, research and publicise the cultural features of this region, from a critical, social and recreational perspective.

In our installations we reveal its interpretative keys, interweaving traditional work, trades and knowledge with the changes produced by industrialisation and emigration to America since the 19th century.

The museum has become a cultural centre of reference with an extensive programme of exhibitions and cultural activities throughout the year.

We are part of the Network of Ethnographic Museums of Asturias (Red MEDA) and the Spanish State Anthropology Association (ASAEE).
